Rick cut, sanded, and finished the wood covers for this larger book; blue Nepalese paper is used for the first and last pages with drawing paper bound on leather cords; the hand-hammered metal hardware is attractive, provides structural stability, and was extremely satisfying to make.

This book was with me for quite awhile, and I didn't mind. When it sold, I was contacted by a man who had seen it with his wife and wanted to get it as a surprise for her. The clandestine purchase was appropriately romantic and memorable for a book that is one of favorites.
