The tactile cover stops you first.

Half-inch strips of black paper and an upcycled Ansel Adams print — Aspens, Northern New Mexico, 1958 — woven by hand for the front cover and sealed with acrylic medium. It's been suggested that the result is part book, part object. It lives on a shelf the way art does.

Inside, six signatures of 90# drawing paper — 120 pages total — longstitch-bound with grey polyester thread.

At approximately 6×6.75", it's a compact but serious sketchbook and the spine has some room to accommodate the occasional tucked-in memento.

There is only one.
