Penelope is a detail photo by Rick Graves. of John Himmelfarb's full-size truck sculpture Penelope Awaiting Her Chamberlain. Joni trimmed Rick's photo to cover size, attached a backing for the inside covers, and patiently rounded the spine before binding. The book's six signatures of white paper are longstitch-bound with clear monofilament thread; the cover has been coated, to make it more durable, and has a 'cellophane noodle' elastic closure. ~4×5.5" 96 pages.
