A tight detail of the rear of a vintage railroad tender (aka coal-car) with the numbers 215 stenciled on the upper right, photographed by Rick Graves. Joni trimmed the photo to cover size, attached a backing for the inside covers, and patiently rounded the spine before binding. The book's six signatures of grey faux-parchment paper are longstitch-bound with black polyester thread; the cover has been coated, to make it more durable, and has a 'cellophane noodle' elastic closure. ~4×5.5" 96 pages.
Several years ago, when we did art fairs, an elderly lady bought this photo. When I pointed out the title, she laughed like a gleeful schoolgirl and said “now I’ll enjoy it all the more”.
