HEDGEROW ON THE RIGHT is a color photograph of an English garden path with a tall, flat-clipped yew hedgerow on the right, its dense green face running the full length of the frame. A gravel path separates hedge from lawn, which stretches dry and golden to the left. Ahead, a whitewashed garden wall with a pointed arch opening reveals a glimpse of the garden beyond, potted plants just visible on the threshold. Above the wall, a crenellated brick gatehouse rises against a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. The composition mirrors its companion image — same garden, opposite flank, the arch now the destination rather than the promise.

It is an original fine art photograph by Rick Graves, printed on exhibition-quality paper with Epson SureColor pigment inks. Hand-packed and shipped from our local post office in Spring Green, WI.
