Motor Row No. 13

Regular price $25.00 USD

MOTOR ROW NO. 13 is a color photograph of a tiled wall, shot flat and straight-on so that the pattern fills the frame edge to edge. A vertical band of deep green glazed brick runs down the center, flanked on both sides by columns of white glazed brick, the whole surface laid in a running bond that offsets each row by half a tile. The green is rich and varied — some tiles nearly black in shadow, others catching light and going almost emerald — while the white tiles are matte and uneven, aged to a warm off-white. The grout lines are sandy and slightly irregular, evidence of age and hand-work. It is a photograph of a wall, and it is entirely sufficient.

The image is an original fine art photograph by Rick Graves, printed on exhibition-quality paper with Epson SureColor pigment inks. Hand-packed and shipped from our local post office in Spring Green, WI.
