• Interior of a vintage railroad dining car kitchen with stainless steel surfaces and under-cabinet lighting. Black and white photograph by Rick Graves.

Galley Kitchen

Regular price $25.00 USD

GALLEY KITCHEN is a black-and-white photograph of the kitchen car interior of a vintage passenger train, preserved at a railroad museum. Stainless steel surfaces line every wall — countertops, cabinet doors, shelving, and overhead storage — all rendered in high-contrast silver tones. Under-cabinet florescent lighting illuminates the work surfaces in a continuous band. The wide-angle perspective bows the ceiling slightly at the edges, pulling the walls inward and the corridor deeper, slatted wooden flooring runs the length of the space. The reflective surfaces give the image an industrial, time-capsule quality — it was a kitchen built for efficiency, not comfort.

It is an original fine art photograph by Rick Graves, printed on exhibition-quality paper with Epson SureColor pigment inks. Hand-packed and shipped from our local post office in Spring Green, WI.
