Board Book No. 501 xxx

This book uses some of the last vintage Italian paper that Bill Weege gave me a few years ago. I've been hoarding it, but it's too unique not to share. Here it's s on the outside and inside covers; geometric pattern is matched, six signatures of 90# white drawing paper, coptic-bound using matching blue waxed linen thread. ~4.35×6″ with 72 pages 

Board books are about the same size as small journals and use a similar structure as the books with printed marble covers. The covers are thinner and decorative paper is applied, rather than wrapped around the covers. An self-confessed heavy-use customer found this to be less durable, although I think they hold up fine with normal wear.
